Hello, With issues like these from a CLS class, it is a good idea to bring it to a professional with LOTS of experience with the S-Class/CLS-class. This could be as simple as a missed fuse under the hood, the headlight switch failing, or CAN-BUS related issues. The S/CLS-class, much like the 7-series BMW, is a flagship car meant to showcase the latest and greatest electronic advancements, so these systems are, by definition, extremely complex. I would advise that you bring the vehicle to a factory trained mercedes technician, or an ASE certified automotive electrician. Funny enough, check to make sure the parking brake is not slightly engaged. You should have a warning on your dash if it is not, and some models will turn off the headlights with the parking brake on.
