the check engine light comes on when start the truck, it stays on and the engine revs high, and when driving the truck in drive when you push the pedal down to the floor the engine revs up and the truck doesnt go any faster, like the transmission is blown, but its not because as soon as the check engine light goes off in drive, the truck drives perfect and its fine, reguarly rev, and pick up speed perfect. my mechanic thinks its the computer. where is it located in the truck, i need the numbers off it ??
