The only thing I can think of is to check the tank itself, many German vehicles have much larger washer reservoirs than American and Japanese counterparts. That larger reservoir size can cause stress fractures, from the heavier load, so what you might think is a seal leak can be a split in the plastic at the area around the seal. If the reservoir is not mounted correctly, it can crack due to excessive movement. The only way you may truly find the cause of the leak, is to totally remove the reservoir from the vehicle and leak test it. Good luck.

are you sure its the seal? if the tank is ok, check the pump itself. the casings can crack over time.
