2000 Subaru Forrester - knock sensor code shows; my husband can repair - but where is it located? have read on line questions that it only takes 5 min to do but we need to know where to look. thanks.

Look at www.rockauto.com I think they have a picture of the relay in the parts catalog, although its relatively cheap from the dealer and is a high failure item on the Subaru. It is on top of the engine under the intake manifold. Black in color a little bigger than the diameter of a quarter and about 13mm tall with a bolt going through it and I think a brown or black electrical connection.
