Knock Sensor???

Alright found the blasted knock sensor. Had to pull the intake manifold to get to it. Imagine this my 06' has an 04' knock sensor!!! Needless to say I ordered the wrong one. This aside I put everything back to normal (ie intake manifold, old knock sensor etc.) Unfortunately the car runs like it's got sugar in the fuel and I have to practically put both feet on the brakes for them to work! I did not replace any gaskets due to the fact they are all o ring style gaskets on the manifold. All I can figure is that there has to be a vacuum leak now thats affecting the timing and power brakes. Should I have sealed the intake manifold with RTV or something??? A very frusturated JB
