Car failed inspection . code 300 and 325 came up . Can both knock Sensor 1 & 2 fail at the same time?

P0300 is not a knock sensor code, but p0325 is. P0300 is a misfire code, so these two codes may be related. It's seems unlikely both knock sensors have failed. The shop needs to perform a proper diagnosis to determine what is going on here, have they done this?
