What is your question?
1. I bought a 2008 kia Optima LX 2.7L V6 three weeks ago, with 36,544 miles on it. The second day I Had the car I Noticed a Slight Ticking coming from the engine compartment. I opened the hood and it seemed to come from the passanger side by the pully. I have had three mechanics look at it encluding the dealer I bought it from. They all stated that it was the fuel injectors closing and opening releasing gas?? I have never heard this you?? And is it possible? Any suggestions?. 2. Mostly In the morning on take off my kia will buck shifting from second to third. An Abrupt early upshift is the best way to descride it any ideas??

1) injectors do make some ticking noise - it's naturally impossible from here to determine the nuances of such a noise and where it may be coming from...so we'll have to defer to the field technicians who have already heard it. Consider multiple opinions...as you appear to already have done. 2) There may be an issue -- and there maybe not. Check your fluid for color/condition and level. I would probably proactively replace your fluid anyway - it should be done every 30,000 miles to be proactive on these transmissions (not the strongest component of the Korean built cars...) Don't forget you have a 5 year / 60,000 mile powertrain warranty, I believe, so you have some time to experience it and see if it betters or worsens. Being proactive with fluid replacement would be good if you had to prove maintenance for a warranty claim, by the way... The upshift could also be the "strategy" from the processor as learned from the driving habits of the previous driver. It may take some time for the processor to "relearn" how to operate for your driving style. Shift points are often developed based off of driving habits over a significant period of time.
jman, Injector ticks are more like a light clicking noise, like a spark noise...hard to explain. Verifying the correct oil and a Kia filter are on the car is also very important. The incorrect weight oil will cause some issues with cam followers ticking (I think this is an overhead cam engine). I'm thinking you are probably safe in the knowledge that two techs have corroborated the story that the ticking appears to be related to the injectors.
thank you.
Well got an actual kia oil filter put on today. Ticking still there. Two mechanics (Friend of family) Who i wo uld trust over a dealership. Say That it is the fuel injector pulse. Toyota says that they can't find anything mechanically wrong. But they don't wana say that there's anything wrong because they don't know that kind of engine. Kia Wants to run all sorts of test which i dnt mind. But there tellin me i need an oil change and everything just had one like 2,000 miles ago. pretty sure there tryin to get money out of me. So the tick goes unsolved.. You knw how it is when you buy a car you want everything perfect well not perfect but good runing order it's nerve racking. sooo Tick still happening next move not sure do got the warrenty soooo.
