I'm interested to know if there is battery power to your car, and if so, does the dashboard display the message for "missing key". Aside from possible weak or dead car, key battery failure, or key failure, there are a lot of vehicles experiencing this issue in the Nissan family. The common issue involves the brake switch and the steering wheel lock. If one of these are your issue, it will leave you stranded time and time again. As funny as it sounds, if it is the steering wheel lock, some people have good results vigorously shaking the steering wheel a few times.
