Key won't turn in the ignition

What is your question?

I've tried everything making sure it was in park , spraying some lubricant in it , jiggling it and even had a new Key made and still won't turn so I can remove the lock cylinder to replace it what else can I try

Put key in lock cyl and smack it with a rubber hammer a couple times... Saw it on YouTube and I'll be damned.. it worked for me .. at least one time! Strike it straight on the end of key.. Got nothing to loose....... Does it have vats?
