key won't turn

try another key, wiggle the column and see if it turns. if it does not then the tumbler has to be replaced. Roy

roys answer is good, i ended up having to hit the switch with the back of a screwdriver while turning and it went fine, after about 3 months I just replaced the whole steering coloum
