Key won't turn.

What is your question?

I am unable to turn the key. I have purchased a new key and programed it as suggested by the dealer and the car started, but when I turned the car off, the ignition locked again. It seems to be de-coding the key. Is there anything else that I can do? Please help.

It might be the Ignition Switch Control Unit. It has to be scanned with the OE SDS diag. computer to see if there is any DTC in the module. If that is bad, the new module has to be coded. You need a MB specialty shop with an SDS computer to do this. Zee
