Is the price range quoted on this page to replace BOTH front half axles or one?

Dealership here quoted $500 to repair both front half axles. Trying to figure out if that is toward the high end or the low end . Page on repair pal said $280-$534, but I wasn't sure whether that price was for one half axle or both. Thank you

$500 is not too high for both sides. What do you mean by repair the axles? Replacing boots or the axles? I think the Repairpal estimator is for one side.

My understanding is that it is to replace both half axles. I'm not sure if that will include the boot. I know one boot (the left) was already recently replaced as it was torn.
