What is your question?
SOMETIMES GREAT RUNNING CAR WON'T START. SOMETIMES IT WILL. THEN IT MAY STALL BETWEEN LIGHTS. IT ACTS LIKE THE IGNITION SWITCH HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. HAVE NOTICED OIL COLLECTING AROUND #1 PLUG WELL (EITHER FROM LEAKY HEAD GASKET OR OIL FILL HOLE). REPLACED THE OIL FILL CAP.
What makes this problem better or worse?
NO PARTICULAR THING MAKES IT BETTER OR WORSE
How long has your 2001 Mazda Millenia had this problem?
CAR HAS BEEN TO TWO SEPARATE REPAIR SHOPS. NO MAZDA DEALER FOR 100 MILES

Intermittent failures are very difficult for ANYONE to diagnose - Unless the problem is actually present at the time - OR - a scan test reveals some clues - it is futile to attempt any repair. Good luck! (BTW - this applies to the dealer as well)
Oil ponding in spark plug well can be remedied by installing a valve cover gasket set .. However that's not responsible for engine "stall"..
