SOMETIMES GREAT RUNNING CAR WON'T START. SOMETIMES IT WILL. THEN IT MAY STALL BETWEEN LIGHTS. IT ACTS LIKE THE IGNITION SWITCH HAS BEEN TURNED OFF.
HAVE NOTICED OIL COLLECTING AROUND #1 PLUG WELL (EITHER FROM LEAKY HEAD GASKET OR OIL FILL HOLE). REPLACED THE OIL FILL CAP.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Oil ponding in spark plug well can be remedied by installing a valve cover gasket set .. However that's not responsible for engine "stall"..
