Interior lights won't shut off draining the battery

When I close the door the interior lights stay on and drains the battery

Try lubricating the door latches first...sometimes that helps free up a sticking door ajar switch.
there is a door ajar switch that connect to the drivers door lock, it is probably bad. You will need to remove the interior door panel to access this switch.
