whats the difference between air conditioner and cooling systemhoses&clamps? to me they are the same and you are trying to make it sound like i am getting more service

Air conditioner lines are one piece lines(no clamps). Cooling hoses have clamps.

If you are repairing a low side line they may be acceptable,They sometimes have a small metal tab 1 " in long to give you a point of installing on a metal joint.
