in tank fuel pump

my 93 f150 reg cab long bed(8ft) XLT needs a fuel pump with gas gauge sending unit for the front tank. I am not sure of the capacity of the tank and want to be sure I order the correct part. Please advise on correct part number fort he front tank pump/sending unit replacement. I there a removable access plate under the seat for this replacement or do I need th drop the tank. Is it possable to cut an access openinig in the bed or under the seat if one is not factoty installed?
