Hello,
Need an estimate (not listed)for an Ignition Switch Electrical Portion Replacement. Is this a dealer only type of repair or can repair shop take care of it. Thank you....

You can buy the electrical portion of the Ignition Switch from a good after market supplier like WorldPac for about $55.00.

the book time is 1.1 hour or about $100 labor.

This is a old post but look in the yellow pages for a car locksmith they can change switch for less than dealer who will hire them anyway.
