2003 Mitsubishi Outlander Ignition switch did not turn off heater blower.
Ignition switch did not turn off heater blower.
What is your question?
After letting vehicle set overnight, battery is completely dead. I turned off blower thinking that was the only thing that didn't shut off. Is ignition switch relay the problem?

When I shut off engine the heater fan did not shut off. I turned the fan off with heater switch and fan turned off. I thought that addressed the problem temporarily but battery was dead next morning. I've charged the battery and when I connect battery I hear and what sounds like solenoid click from the alternator end of engine. I don't think there should be any sounds coming from engine compartment until the ignition switch is turned on. Does this info help?
