What is your question?
The last time my car started suddenly running rough with weak acceleration ,it was an ignition coil. It's doing the same thing now. My question is how hard is it to do this on my own?

First you must find the faulty coil using the process of elimination. The coils on N52 motors are pretty reliable and aren't prone to failing, but if swapping them around indicates a faulty coil then that's fine. The pollen filter cover and assembly is to be removed, several 8mm bolts, the strut brace also is to be removed E-Torx bits required, the silvertop N52 cover simply pulls off and the blacktop have 5mm allen key screws. Locate the faulty coil, lift the plug tab up, remove plug, pull the coil out, the are very stubborn to get out, make sure not to lever on anything silly.
