If I start my car with the key, then walk away, can somebody take it?

Hello, This is all assuming you have remote starting: If you start the car with the remote, you can get in the vehicle and out of the vehicle, walk close or far, and the only thing that will cause the engine to stop running is if it runs out of fuel. However, that is all the vehicle will do. Your doors will be locked (unless you unlock them). Someone can listen to the radio, use the air conditioner, recline the seats, or adjust your vehicle settings, but the vehicle will be disabled if they attempt to move the car without the smart key inside the car.
But if the car is running for instance I have met my wife at the gas station she took my car I took her car but I had my key on my Buckle she took off in my car and went to work but I don't think she cuz you were not be able to start the car off you would turn it off but it will not be able to start back up but somebody can take your car I know this for a fact because I watch my wife take off in my car and my keys was on my waist buckle but they made will not be able to restart the car but if the car is running for answers i am at my wife at the gas station she took my car i took her car but i hate my key on my buckle she took off in my car in which to work but i don't think she could you will not be a restart a car up you were turning off but it will that be able to start back up but somebody can take your car and your is perfect because that was my wife take off my car in my keys where's on my way stuck up but they may were not the able to restart the car
Look through the vehicle to make sure there is not another key inside the vehicle. If you remote start the car, the vehicle should not be able to shift out of park without the key present, pressing the start button with the foot on the brake, and the key being present. I think there is a lost key fob inside your car somewhere.
