I USED 87 OCTAIN INSTED OF 91 OCTAIN AND MY ENGINE LIGHT IS ON

I used a tank of 87 OCTAIN gas in my 2012 MB CLS550. The engine light came on today so figured that may be the reason. I went to AUTO ZONE a purchased a 16 oz Lucas Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner and filled the tank with 91 octain BP gas. I drove 36 miles to try to get the fuel in the system but the engine light is still on. The car ran smooth with no problems. The light just came on today.
What makes this problem better or worse?

you'll be fine,no need to worry,and I don't think that's why your CEL came on(have the code read),and no use to add fuel additives(not needed and your owners manual should have that in there)mine says"never add fuel additives" and mine is not a Mercedes!...you may or may not notice any mileage difference,but run whatever octane MB says to run in it,listed in your owners manual in case of a warranty conflict....
