have this problem but recently.. I took my car to SanTan Volkswagen due smell of oil and gas mix from the vents when I run the engine fan..I notice this issue during idle or at low speeds.. SanTan said it was an oil leak and it cost me $1,725 to fix.. They said that they fixed it.. Till today it's going on 3 weeks and I still smell the same thing... I then took the car to Berge Volkswagen and they said that there's no leaks I mean I can smell it and it's either gas or mix of gas and oil it gives me a headache.. Both dealerships said that its just residue and my care sure drives strange even after the so called oil leak fix.. Please help I don't want to die in my car.
