What is your question?
I got error code p0018 which let me know that my left Bank variable valve timing solenoid on my 2006 Kia Sedona was probably bad I can reach the 10 mm bolt I have not tried to pull it out I was wondering if it is able to come out of their wiggle its way out or do I have to remove the cover from right there I need to pass emissions and I don't see any other way but to replace this any help would be grateful
What makes this problem better or worse?
Car runs fine other than I need to pass emissions
How long has your 2006 Kia Sedona had this problem?
Didn't know I had a problem up until last week

Hello, I strongly advise anyone asking a question of this kind to seek professional guidance local to you. No offense intended, but you can cause all kinds of difficulty by approaching something of this complexity without having any first hand knowledge of it. This Is not your typical "backyard job" -- I would recommend you get the guidance and assistance of a local Kia experienced technician near you.
Thank you but that does not answer my question all I really want to know is will the cvvt come out if all the wire harness are moved aside or will it hit the intake manifold before it clears the housing it's in . I appreciate your advice but would still like to know the answer if anyone has one I have researched this for several days and I find nothing on the 3.8 liter that is found in some Kia models and a few hyundai models
