What is your question?
I need to do this myself, I have some mechanical knowledge, I would like to know,is it under the upper manifold and is it very difficult to remove, meaning taking it out and replacing the gaskets

Pretty tough little job but it's doable with a little skill. Before i explain, google it or check out youtube first. If that's no help and more help needed, post a reply! After the ballgame i will do so. Here is a tip; (I use the o-ring plus the gasket!!) Not under the manifold but fuel lines are in the way. It looks like a distributor that has been cut in half. Rear of engine.
Hey thanks for responding so fast, I goggled you tubed I tried everything their not giving me the correct information, for removing oil pump drive shaft to replace 0-rings and gasket, I have the ability to do the job, car has only 60,000 miles, oil just started leaking a week ago , Mechanic told me it's under the throddle body, very tight squeeze if you try to do the job without removing upper cover, but I will remove the upper manifold cover if need be, oil is puddling up on top of engine right next to fuel line connecting fuel rails, oil dripping down the side on to floor, is it hard to replace the o-rings and gasket, (((need to know how to remove oil pump dive shaft to replace o-rings))) , I am on disability taking care of mom, need my car no money to buy a new one, if you know how, kind enough to help me out , man that would be a big weight off my shoulder Thank you appreciate your help
No need to remove the upper intake! Google it for pictures.
I did, it won't give me what I need, can you give me a quick summary on how to do this Job after your game ? unless you know where on Google to get infor and e-mail it at mirror703@gmail.com
Enter ( oil pump drive leak 3.1 gm ) it's there!
Ok I'll try, I'm sorry to bother you again but I just looked it up problem is and same one I'm having is, some say just remove throttle body, other say remove upper and lower intakes, very confusing, do you know which
NO INTAKE removal required! The fuel lines are in the way! Take the bolt out, remove the hold down bracket, with a 'long' pair of needle nose plires pull up on the drive gear to see what is going to have to be removed to get it out so the o-ring can be replaced! I do it without removing anything but the drive!! But I have been doing this for 40+ years! If you do not feel comfortable doing this get some hands-on help. It is not like the car is broke down!! So it can wait for now. Good luck with it!
thank you for your time and information,I appreciate your help I pretty much have it figured out thanks to you, have a great day and holidays,
Likewise.
