Would it do that if drive belt needs replacing, before all those lights came on the check engine light & VDC light was on, I thought it might've been in limp mode then. Sorry just trying to rule out the major as not much coin to take it anywhere :-)
sound like you might have two separate issues. Get the codes pulled from the ABS module, there should be a code since most of the lights popping up are systems monitored by it. Get the code and go from there, most likely would be a sensor and might be related to squeal or grinding noise. Get the code from the ecu for the check engine. To get temporarily out of limp mode you can reset the ecu and you would be able to drive normal for a while, but get the codes before resetting.
