I have an oil pan crack close to the drainage plug, can that be caused oil change

What is your question?

I had an oil change last week, saw oil in the driveway and brought it back to the people that did the oil change, they said there is an oil pan crack, not at the drain plug (about an inch from it) I want to know if it could be caused from the oil change. 300 miles driven since oil change before I discovered the leak.

I'm not sure what could cause an oil pan to crack other than one of the two possibilities: 1) impact by foreign object 2) over-torquing drain plug Who knows.I would say it's interesting to have a crack after a service. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
