I changed the battery and now the cd player doesn't work and the trunk open

The CD player has cd's in it, but it won't allow me to play them or eject them. At the same time, the trunk will not raise automatically. This all began over the winter after I changed the battery.

This could be coincidental, or could be due to low battery voltage. It could also result from a voltage spike of some sort. Hard to say. A proper electrical system diagnosis is in order.
