What is your question?
I have a 2006 jeep liberty limited. I was driving 2 days ago, I thought it was my breaks that locked up since I was needing to replace them. I replaced the brakes, the caliber, and the input/output speed sensors and the problem is still there. When you put it in reverse the engine will ram up and it makes a loud winning sound.
How long has your 2006 Jeep Liberty had this problem?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your Liberty is moving in drive but not reverse, you may be dealing with an internal transmission problem. The whining sound is likely caused by a broken component, gear, or linkage that is no longer attached. You may also be dealing with a valve body issue, but that is less likely. I recommend not driving the vehicle until you can get it checked out by a trusted shop to prevent further damage. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
