What is your question?
Will Maxcare warranty cover a break replacement on a car I just bought just this past November?
How long has your 2017 Honda CR-V had this problem?
Noticed it just after purchase. Told it was a temperature problem and would stop when the tires heated up.

Hello, those of us answering questions in this forum at this time are enthusiasts and folks that have experience in maintenance and repair of vehicles. There's no one in this forum affiliated with the MaxCare or CARMAX programs specifically. I'd suggest consulting a toll free number on the contract to ask the questions you have. I will say that vehicle maintenance is not typically a covered component, but if there's a mechanical breakdown of a covered component, then you may have some coverage. In every case, diagnostic inspection is necessary to find out what has happened and why, so that a "failed part" can be checked against warranty coverage to see if it's covered. I will say, as someone currently operating a Honda service department, that I can't think of a mechanical failure that would cause what has happened to your vehicle. This is not in any way a common concern, and I'd suspect possible outside influence or physical damage. Inspection is needed.
