Hello, You have a radiator fan AND and A/C fan, which doubles as an auxillary cooling fan for the radiator. When you turn the A/C on, the fans need to blow, but with the A/C off, the radiator fan only blows when needed. The Lancer Evo is extremely adept to keeping cool, and unless you are running a high performance set-up the fan may only need to run while sitting still for prolonged times. After you drive the vehicle next, don't turn it off, just park it, turn off the A/C, and wait outside the vehicle where you can hear the fan and see the engine temp gauge. If the temp gauge gets too high, yet the fan still does not come on, let me know. However, if the temp never goes higher than the center-line without the fan operating, that is an issue. Post your results here.
thank you very much for your reply. when ac on, both fan operating together. temp line always go upto middle. not above that.
Perfect. That is exactly where you should be. If you notice the needle creeping to the right when the weather turns warmer, post a reply to this same thread, and I will get your message to help you out.
