What is your question?
When I try to turn the air conditioning on my 2008 Lexus ES350, I get this message: "check the connection to the air conditioner" The car's battery was dead for 6 months. I charged the battery, but didn't drive the car for another six months. When I finally drove it, every time I pushed the climate switch, I got this message. Everything worked perfectly before the battery went dead....my guess is it's a software issue. Car has only 70,000 miles.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing....a/c won't turn on
How long has your 2008 Lexus ES350 had this problem?
one week (after car sat for one year)

Hello, there is no programmable software related to the systems you are speaking of for your year, make and model. I'd suggest some hands on testing be performed to see what is prompting that message to appear. It's too hard to know what's going on without performing hands on testing. Due to the extent of time the vehicle was not operated, it is even a bit more challenging to assess what may be happening here.
