Fuel tank needs to be partially lowered to replace sensor which is pushed into the top of pump module. Note: I have never had one of these sensors to fail and the same sensor is used on all GM vehicles!!.. I have had problems with the wiring going to the sensor or another problem that effected the FTP that simply set the code and further testing is needed to find the actual cause.

It's not impossible for a failed sensor of course, it's just I have never had to replace one... Check for damaged wiring or sensor not seated properly. For more possibilities enter code at > engine-codes.com {good luck!
