how to replace Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid on 2006 Saturn Vue 3.5l engine

Hello, what diagnostic test has been performed to confirm that the solenoid has failed? If you don't know how to undertake replacement of the condemned parts, I would guess that you got a diagnostic trouble code and are guessing at the answer. It would be best to perform a diagnostic test and find out the true source of failure, and then reference the shop manual to find out how to repair it, including replacement of any parts needed. It's too hard without doing the testing and not very reliable.
