What is your question?
I own a Saturn relay and recently it overheated bad I let it cool down on the side of the freeway and after it cooled filled it with more coolant and headed home, it overheated and I repeated the cooling process until I got home a couple days later my low oil pressure light came on so I parked it and haven’t touched it since. My question is can a faulty oil pump be what created the overheating?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing makes it bettee
How long has your 2005 Saturn Relay had this problem?

Hello, no, a faulty oil pump is not going to influence engine temperature to the point overheating happens. On the contrary, overheating repeatedly can cause internal engine damage which can clog oil passages and reduce oil pressure to the point of internal engine failure. The damage incurred is probably significant based off of your symptoms and the continued overheated driving. Seek professional assistance near you.
