How to repair the cruise control on a 2009 Avalanche?

I don't have the answer, but I have the same problem. Have you figured it out? Cruise light shows when I press the button on the steering wheel but not showing on the dashboard. And cruise isn't working. Any help would be great.

I have had this issue twice and each occurrence required the brake light switch to be replaced. Additionally, you should have noticed an anti-skid warning light illuminated. We own a 2007 avalanche LT. Retired Air Force (30 yrs)

I had the same issue on my 2008 Avalanche. I replaced the brake light switch. Problem solved
