How to remove the ignition lock cylinder, I removed the original steering wheel and colum and replaced so was wondering if i had to replace the lock cylinder as well or use the one from my old steering wheel to make it work vehicle wont crank?

That won't keep the starter from 'cranking' the engine!! .. It will keep the engine from 'starting' & running and should have a security light flashing in dash while engine is cranking... Do you have this security light? ... Why replace steering column??
