On a 2WD truck its an eight hour job. The oil pump is driven off the "front nose" of the crankshaft, the timing belt has to be removed to get access to the oil pump housing/gear set. There are two companies that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You can get a one week subscription or year subscription very cheap.
