There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Do you feel comfortable removing the door panel? If you do, get a test light and connect it to the leads to the window motor and see if it lights up when you work the switch. If it does, get power and ground to the motor from wires connected to a battery, and see it it works. If the motor works and the test light lights up, then you have a wiring issue.
