How to find the code for the radio

What is your question?

We recently and briefly disconnected the battery to clean the terminals and the audio system apparently rebooted. There is power going to it, but when the power is turned on I get a message asking me to "Enter Code." How do I find out what the code is? I presume this is an anti-theft measure.
