Hello, That is normally a bad antenna, so you're on the right track. The issue could also be the antenna cable, a bad connection, or a bad radio. Just replace the antenna. If it doesn't fix the issue, you will have it ruled out. They come with a new cable attached.

I wonder, does the radio lose all of it's programmed stations or reset the clock sometimes?
