How to change the transmission filter?

Remove all but two of the transmission pan bolts, then loosen them to let the oil drain. Then remove the last two bolts to remove the pan. Now remove and replace the filter and screen. Clean the pan, and gasket area. replace the pan, gasket, and bolts. Remove the service fill plug and refill. With the engine running shift through all of the gears. Now place the shifter in park and check the oil through the service fill port. You should just be able to tough the new oil. Replace the plug and you are all done.
