How to change the 120 Amp alternator fuse located by the battery on a 2004 Kia Optima 2.4 liter. It blew when changing battery. Because I messed up and hooked it up backwards. I know dumb move. Thank you. Dean Vickery Deanv8687@gmail.com

Circuit protection fuses are just replaced by pulling them out with the appropriate fuse pulling tool and replacing them. I have looked in the shop manual and I'm not seeing a 120 amp alternator fuse of any kind in any fuse box. I would probably check each fuse in that box under the hood and replace any that are blown, there may be more than one.
