How long can you drive your car if it needs an Air compressor replacement.

What is your question?

Is it safe to drive as long as you do not use the air circulator or air conditioner/heater. I don't want to further damage the related parts. I have a Dodge Avenger RT so I believe the 3.5L V6 is correct.

If the compressor is frozen then the belt won't turn and could brake. If that belt doesn't turn then it may not turn the alternator, therefore your battery won't hold a charge and the vehicle will die.
