Why are my 4wd indicator lights flashing and how do you reset the tccm module? This is for a 1998 Chevy C1500. Appreciate the help.

For a 1998 Chevrolet C1500, you have to use a scanner, preferably a Tech2, to be able to read the transfer case control module. Read and repair the codes listed, then clear it.
Thanks for the info. Could the tccm be the reason the front end won't lock in? I've already replaced the front end actuator and theswitch on the dash. The transfer case is locking in but the lights still flashing and the actuator want engage. Thanks
The TCCM is the component that commands the lock up, but for some reason it has noticed a failure somewhere and it's trying to show you what the fault is by blinking the light. That's the point where the module needs to be scanned to see what it is. If you have fixed the problem and it is no longer an issue, you have to tell the module by clearing the code, then it will look again, and if all is well it will start working. If not it won't clear until the fault is fixed.
Thanks again... I will have it scanned ASAP
Great let us know if needed further.
