My AC/heater blower stopped working. I found the problem with the fuse in the fuse box under the hood was the problem. I replaces that and it worked one time and now it blows that so we are trying to unhook the air conditioner upfront at the motor. Anyone know the ins and outs of the air conditioner electrical system?

I am a mechanic with 25 years of experience and am HVAC certified by ASE. I do not recommend unplugging the ac compressor as it is used to defrost windows in winter. If it is the fuse for the fan that is blowing, it has nothing to do with the ac compressor under the hood. That would most likely be a bad winding in the blower motor (heater fan) or a burnt resister pack. Is it the blower motor fuse that is blowing?
