What is your question?
I purchased a 2006 Subaru Outback and have had it in the Subaru Service department twice over this issue since purchase. I've replaced the Steering Pump, hoses on the car, put on new tires and had this Sensor issue worked on twice; to the tune of 2K in Service Repairs since purchase.. Enough!... The Tire Pressure TPMS Light will not stop blinking on and off when driving. The Subaru Service Dept. has reset the sensor twice and checked the tire pressure... Nothing seems to help. It's really a beautiful car with very, very low mileage.. But, I won't keep a car that I can't get fixed.. Any ideas?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving for an extended period on the freeway; and, extended driving around town.
How long has your 2006 Subaru Outback had this problem?
Since day of purchase about two months ago.

Flashing TPMS lamp usually indicates an active problem, most common cause would be a bad TPMS sensor in one of the wheels. Most shops should have a tool to scan your wheels to see if they are all reading properly. Beyond that I would check the spare tire just in case. Figure the battery in those sensors are 11 years old and may be intermittently failing. Alot of TPMS issues range from the sensors or their not being programmed to the car if they have been replaced with a universal sensor. Hope this helps.
