how do i install a thermostat?

Locate the top radiator hose, follow it to the first junction. At this junction the thermostat is located under the plate the hose is hooked up to, there are two 10mm bolts holding this housing which has the thermostat underneath. Be sure to look at the position of the old thermostat before you replace it as not to install it upside down. Reverse proceedure to install.
