How do i get my instrument panel lights to work if the car factory harness gets damaged

Hello, When replacing the factory head unit, you need to use an adapter. Splicing in wires is a thing of the past. The dash lights run through the radio on nearly every newer vehicle, so the issue is that they are probably disconnected making an incomplete circuit. Repair the factory wiring, and get an adapter (walmart has them)
