how do I check the transmission fluid on my 2009 solstice 2.4?

In order to check the fluid level, you need to lift the vehicle and remove the "fill" plug to see if the fluid is at the point where it would spill out of the hole. A screwdriver can be inserted as a "dipstick" to check fluid level and condition. For the most part, this is not a "do it yourself" task for the typical vehicle owner.
