It's OBD1 so you have a couple choices, use the factory MIL check or if possible find a dealer that still have the Nissan Consult 1 reader. Instructions here http://www.troublecodes.net/nissan/

Also, any shop with one of the older Snap-On MT2500 (red brick) scanner's, or equivalent, can fix you up!
